Aborichthys elongatus

Aborichthys elongatus is a riverine loach that thrives best in a well-established aquarium with good water flow. They prefer rocky substrates where they can hide and forage. It is important to replicate their natural environment in captivity with plenty of oxygenated water. They are known to be peaceful and can be kept with other non-peaceful or semi-aggressive species, but should not be housed with overly aggressive fish that can outcompete them for food. Ensure you have a lid on the tank, as they are notorious jumpers.
