Betta simplex are relatively peaceful in nature compared to other Betta species. They exhibit stunning color variations and prefer densely planted aquariums with plenty of hiding spots to mimic their natural habitat. Ensure that the aquarium has a tight-fitting lid, as they are known jumpers.
