This species is a small, peaceful schooling fish that is well-suited for a community aquarium. They should be kept in groups of at least 6 to prevent stress and exhibit natural behavior. They may become timid if housed with larger, more aggressive fish. Providing plenty of swimming space, live plants, hiding spots, and a gentle current will mimic their natural habitat and help keep them active and healthy.
