Hypancistrus L260, also known as Queen Arabesque Pleco, is a bottom-dwelling fish appreciated for its striking black and white striped pattern. It is a peaceful species, ideal for community tanks, but can be territorial with other plecos. A highly omnivorous fish, it will require a balanced diet of both plant-based foods and protein-rich diets. L260s prefer tanks with soft sand or smooth substrate, plenty of hiding spots like caves, and driftwood to mimic their natural environment. Regular water changes are vital for their health, as they are sensitive to deteriorating water conditions. Tank mates should be chosen wisely; small, non-aggressive fish are ideal as they save the pleco from stress.
