Iksookimia yongdokensis is a peaceful benthic species that enjoys sandy or fine substrates. Given its natural habit in streams, maintaining good water flow in the aquarium is beneficial. They can be quite shy, so providing plenty of hiding places using rocks or driftwood is recommended.
