Leptobotia taeniops is a semi-aggressive bottom dweller and prefers to live in groups. They require ample hiding spaces and substrates that replicate their natural riverbed habitat. Well-oxygenated tanks with some water movement are beneficial. Due to their size and temperament, they shouldn't be housed with small, delicate fish.
