Maylandia estherae

Maylandia estherae, or the Red Zebra Cichlid, is a vibrant and hardy species popular among freshwater aquarists. It is known for its striking orange-red coloration, although variations exist. With a semi-aggressive temperament, they do well in community tanks with similar sized African cichlids. Adequate rock structures and cave-like decor are essential for territories and hiding spots.
