Panaqolus albivermis

Panaqolus albivermis, commonly known as the Flash Pleco, is a small and visually striking member of the Loricariidae family. They are known for their wood-eating habits, consuming significant amounts of driftwood along with algae and fresh vegetables. They are peaceful but can be slightly territorial, especially when it comes to claiming hiding spaces or wood as feeding zones. When setting up an aquarium for Panaqolus albivermis, a well-structured environmental layout with plenty of driftwood, hiding places, and moderate water flow should be prioritized to mimic their natural habitat. Also, as nocturnal creatures, they tend to be more active during the night, so guided feeding after lights out could be beneficial.
