Pangasius siamensis is a large, migratory freshwater fish known for its elongated body and can grow exceptionally, reaching an impressive 130 cm in the wild. Due to their rapid growth and size, they are not suitable for small home aquariums. They require a large environment that offers ample swimming space and a strong water current to mimic their natural habitat. Additionally, they are social fish and prefer being in groups to mitigate stress, but their tank mates should be chosen with care due to their potential size and dietary habits.
