Pangio anguillaris
Striped Kuhli Loach, Eel Loach
Pangio anguillaris is a peaceful, nocturnal species that thrives in groups. They have slender bodies resembling eels and are characteristic of their striking striped patterns. Ideal as a community fish, they prefer densely planted tanks with ample hiding spots and a soft substrate to burrow. Although resilient, they require stable water conditions to prevent stress-related diseases. Feeding them is relatively simple as they accept a wide range of food, from sinking pellets to live worms and brine shrimp.
