Parachanna africana, or the African Snakehead, is distinguished by its elongated body and carnivorous nature. Though popular for its exotic appearance, this species can be aggressive, necessitating close monitoring, especially if housed with other species. Due to its size and nature, a spacious tank with plenty of hiding spots, such as plants and driftwood, is recommended.
