Schistura spilota

Schistura spilota thrive in well-aerated tanks that simulate their natural habitats with moderate water flow and ample hiding spaces. They are small, benthic dwellers and can be sensitive to poor water conditions, requiring regular maintenance and clean water. This species is peaceful but may show territorial behavior towards similar species, thus providing ample space and visual barriers will help reduce aggression. They are excellent for community tanks if housed with similarly sized and non-aggressive fish.
