Sciaenochromis fryeri

The Electric Blue Hap is a visually stunning species popular in the hobby due to its vibrant blue coloration. Native to Lake Malawi, it's generally peaceful compared to other cichlids but can be territorial during breeding. They benefit from a diet rich in protein and should be housed in tanks with ample rock structures for hiding and territorial behaviors. Due to their territorial nature, it's advisable to keep one male with multiple females or in larger groups including cohorts to disperse aggression.
