Scleromystax sp. C113, often referred to as C113 Corydoras or Curitiba Cory, is a peaceful bottom-dwelling catfish belonging to the Callichthyidae family. Known for its distinct color patterns and behavior, it is commonly sought after in the aquarium trade. They display unique social behaviors and prefer being in groups, making them excellent candidates for community tanks with a preference for well-planted aquariums that mimic their natural environment. Tank mates should be similarly peaceful and capable of tolerating the specific water parameters suitable for the C113. Their diet should also be varied with high-quality sinking pellets, live, or frozen foods to ensure optimal nutrition.
