Sewellia speciosa are known for their striking patterns and streamlined bodies, adapted for life in high-flow environments. They are peaceful and social, often seen grazing on algae and biofilm. Ideal tank mates include other small, non-aggressive species that also appreciate similar water conditions. Their habitat should mimic fast-flowing streams: use pebbles, rocks, and driftwood to create hiding spots and ensure a mature aquarium with plenty of algae and smooth stones for them to graze upon.
