Sillaginopsis panijus

Sillaginopsis panijus is a unique species adapted to brackish water and estuarine environments. It requires a large, well-maintained aquarium setting to thrive, especially for full-grown adults given their size. Typically found in sandy substrates which they sift through for food. They can be skittish and prefer a peaceful community setting but should not be kept with very small tank mates.
